Kitimat’s Spring 2025 Housing Fact Sheet has revealed a shifting housing landscape, marked by rising home prices, falling rents and growing concern about affordability. The report, presented to council on May 26, compiles data from BC Assessment, the Northern BC Real Estate Board, Big River Analytics, online listings and surveys with local housing providers. Staff produce the fact sheet twice each year to give council a snapshot of market conditions and trends.
