The town has re-emphasized that the parking lot across the street from the upcoming transit hub is not meant to be used as a ‘park and ride’ for Cochranites taking the bus into the city. While a future structure on the site (not currently funded) could allow for that type of use, the town says capacity isn’t there in the lot’s current surface-only form.
