No new operating funds in $8.4M Airdrie urgent care renovation: province 

The Alberta government says the $8.4-million renovation at the Airdrie Community Health Centre did not add operating funds, leaving existing staff to manage the expanded urgent care space. Kyle Warner, press secretary to the Ministry of Hospital and Surgical Health Services, said the project increased treatment room capacity by 37.5 per cent by reconfiguring floor space and including both the trauma bay and the de-escalation room.
