Being too old to trick or treat and wanting to show off our costumes, my partner and I decided to spend Halloween on Whyte Avenue. It turns out, seemingly thousands of other Edmontonians had the same idea. Even before bars started charging covers, the sidewalks were filled with construction workers, members of the Scooby Doo gang, and a group of about 15 Batmans.
