House prices soared in parts of Devon in the year to April – with prices going up in North Devon by a fifth. The area saw the highest rise in Devon as the UK experienced the second-largest annual rise in well over a decade. Across Devon, the average price reached £325,989 in April, according to the latest Land Registry data. That was 1% above £322,605 in March and 13.6% more than a year earlier, when the figure was £287,051.
