Sugar beet growers in the Vauxhall and Bow Island areas should be very happy this fall.

For producers not impacted by the wrath of Mother Nature’s early summer storms, growing conditions have been nearly optimal for a number of crops, including southern Alberta’s iconic sugar beet.
