Air Canada ramps up GP service to meet demand

Puddle-jumping from Grande Prairie to Edmonton or Calgary, or vice versa, is expected to be a bit easier starting this spring as Air Canada has introduced larger planes to help keep up with increasing demand for shorts flights in Western Canada.

The Q400 airplane –the Air Canada Express – seats 74 people and will be operated by Air Canada Jazz along with their current fleet of planes that carry 50 passengers each.
