Alberta unemployment rate rises to 5%

CALGARY — Alberta’s unemployment rate edged up in June to 5.0 per cent, the second lowest in the country behind Saskatchewan’s 3.7 per cent.

Alberta’s unemployment rate in May was 4.8 per cent.
