Albertans saving more money this year than rest of Canada

CALGARY — Albertans on average are planning to save the most of any region in the country this year and nearly double the Canadian average, according to a new poll released Monday by BMO.

According to the new BMO Household Savings Report, Albertans planning to save in 2013 are aiming to put away an average of $18,035 while for Canada it is $9,859.
