As rents continue to rise in Connecticut, could legislators consider a cap? 

As advocates push for Connecticut to enact a law to protect renters from getting ousted unreasonably from their apartments, the odds do not appear strong that they will try again for a cap on rent increases — which can amount to de-facto evictions when landlords push through huge hikes at renewal.
