Business owners in the city’s downtown accessed grants worth $286,000 in 2012 – marking a more than tenfold improvement in the second year of a four-year program to spur redevelopment in the city centre.

“Going forward, we feel that we’re getting some traction in developing downtown,” city business development officer Keith Crush told Wednesday’s Development and Infrastructure committee meeting.
