Calgary region building permits jump in October

CALGARY — The value of building permits in the Calgary region rose to $394.6 million in October, according to Statistics Canada.

The federal agency reported Thursday that permits were up 5.1 per cent from the previous month in the Calgary census metropolitan area.

They also rose by 11.4 per cent year-over-year.
