CALGARY — Transit’s new blueprint for 2040 offers greatly expanded service but with a major price tag.

RouteAhead, the plan released Friday, envisions more LRT legs, more high-frequency bus routes, more information about bus arrivals, and perhaps higher fares from the outer suburbs, non-residents and rush-hour commuters.
