The opening date of one of Airdrie’s first cannabis retailers is up in the air, as the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) suspended new applications and cannabis retail licenses in November. The move was the result of a national cannabis supply shortage, according to AGCL.
