Town council voted down a bylaw to develop a car wash in the Heritage Hills area because of noise concerns for adjacent residents.

Sought was the inclusion of a car wash as a permitted use on a local commercial district land parcel.

Councillors expressed concern over the noise levels that would be generated by the proposed four bay car wash and believed it would be better suited for a light industrial area.
