Well, it seems like city hall has heard your complaints.

New wording for the proposed amendments to implement the Residential Infill Guidelines makes it clear those kind of garages should be discouraged. The new amendments have been posted to the city website here, and are scheduled for debate Feb. 11 at executive committee.
