Q: Our condo board has a new rental policy in place, requiring a deposit for all rental units. I understand this is part of the Act, and they can ask for this, but they also want to know when the unit was purchased, receive a copy of all contracts, the relationship the tenant has with the owner, and full names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of everyone living in the unit. How much information is the board allowed to ask for?
