Home construction in and around Calgary will likely slow this year, says a federal agency.

The Calgary census metropolitan area should end 2013 with 11,800 housing construction starts of all kinds, easing nine per cent from 12,841 starts in 2012, says Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. in its first-quarter forecast.
