The unofficial was made official this week, as Devon was announced as one of the start communities for this summer’s first inaugural Tour of Alberta, a six-day, 850-kilometre, Tour de France-style stage race across the province.

On March 5, members of the cycling community and local leaders gathered to announce the host cities and towns for the Tour, set for Sept. 3-8.
