There’s no money for pro sports arenas in the federal government’s budget, but part of the downtown arena district could see a federal boost in funding, says Edmonton-Spruce Grove MP Rona Ambrose.

“What we do have allocated, which I think is good news for the Edmonton downtown arena rejuvenation project is a community improvement, that’s specifically there to fund recreational facilities,” she said.
