The city is one step closer to purchasing and redeveloping the old Grande Prairie Public School District building on 102 Avenue and 99 Street. Tuesday, the corporate services committee moved for council to provide first reading of the bylaw to borrow $2.3 million to purchase the building and the land, of which $800,000 could be used for development of the site.
