My partner and I are currently looking for our next “forever” home after three house moves in the past 12 years. We’ve bought and sold before, but always through a real estate agent from the same firm. Now we’re looking in a new town where we don’t have much of a network yet. We are quite taken with a place that’s for sale privately, but my partner thinks there must be something wrong with it if it’s not being sold by an agent.
