CALGARY — Consumer prices in Alberta were on the rise at a higher rate than the rest of the country in March, according to Statistics Canada.

The federal agency reported Friday that its Consumer Price Index in Alberta rose by 0.3 per cent from February and was up 1.2 per cent year-over-year.
