The city’s new regional park has grown in size.
Despite cost warnings from officials, city council members voted Tuesday to boost the North Regional Park to 73 acres.
The soon-to-be-built facility will still be smaller than Nicholas Sheran Park (106 acres) or Lethbridge’s famous Henderson Lake Park — about 140 acres, including the lake and Japanese Garden but not the golf course.
