Many of us have seen reports about the world’s most unaffordable places to live. Vancouver and Toronto were ranked in the top five least-affordable cities globally next to Hong Kong and Sydney. Edmonton, on the other hand, received the distinction of being the fourth-most affordable city in North America. As Canada’s fifth-largest city and sixth-largest metropolitan area, a focused conversation is needed on how we can propel our growth forward, and welcome more people and investment to Edmonton.
