Osaka court rules demanding rent from tenants using space under expressway illegal

OSAKA — The Osaka District Court ruled on July 31 that it is illegal for an agency to charge rent to textile manufacturers and other historic tenants based in the Semba Center Building situated under the Hanshin Expressway overpass that was originally constructed on top of the building.
