An Edmonton landlord got a pungent surprise when she went to check on her north side property Saturday afternoon.

Police say the woman went to check on the home, at 90 Street and 129B Avenue, and discovered a small marijuana grow op inside.

Acting Staff Sgt. Colleen Maynes said there were less than 20 plants inside the home, along with several pieces of equipment.
