Riverfront Park high priority in open space plan

With the open spaces master plan now in place and provincial funding allocated, the Riverfront Park project is going ahead for the Town of Cochrane and is slated to be completed next year.

The town has allocated $2 million in Municipal Sustainability Initiatives funding to enhance use of 19.2 hectares of Bow River frontage to refine and expand upon existing recreational opportunities for the community.

For Mayor Truper McBride, it’s follow through on part of his election platform in 2010.
