EDMONTON – The prospective buyers of the Crowne Plaza Chateau Lacombe want to restore the downtown Edmonton landmark to its former prominence, said the hotel’s general manager.

An offer by a largely local group of investors to purchase the hotel from the receiver manager has been given court approval, said James Jackson.
