Following deliberations, Sexsmith Town Council approved the final capital and operating budgets for 2023 with a three per cent increase in residential and a two per cent increase in commercial municipal tax rates. The changes will amount to an increase of $23.42 residential and $32.26 commercial per $100,000 on an average property.
