EDMONTON, AB, Mar. 11, 2013/ Troy Media/ – After a soft start to 2013, new residential construction activity in Edmonton showed an outstanding performance in February.

According to the figures released last week by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), builders in Edmonton broke ground on a total of 871 units in February 2013. This level of activity is more than double the 372 units started in February 2012 and is also an increase of 84 per cent when compared to the January 2013 level.
