Telus, RMWB partnership breaks ground on high-speed internet network for rural, Indigenous communities

Telus has begun work on bringing its high-speed internet network, PureFibre, to rural and Indigenous communities across the municipality. Once finished in late 2023, gigabit speeds and stronger mobile coverage will be available in all rural hamlets, First Nations and Métis communities south of Fort McMurray, and the Fort McKay First Nation and Fort McKay Métis.
