The Moyer Recreation Centre in Josephburg is going to get some upgrades thanks to funding from the federal government.

Announced on Friday, Feb. 22 by Vegreville-Wainwright MP Leon Benoit — whose constituency includes the rural part of Strathcona County — the Moyer Rec Centre will receive $132,150 to upgrade the facility’s kitchen, gymnasium, banquet hall and arena.
