Teachers, staff and students may have to wait up to a year longer than planned to step through the doors of Fort McMurray’s sixth kindergarden to Grade 6 school. The Christina Gordon Public School was slated to open its doors in September 2016, but the wildfire has halted construction and delayed the welcoming hundreds of students to the building.
