MADISON, Wis. — Cropland cash rent paid to Wisconsin landlords in 2024 averaged $162.00 per acre, up $6 per acre from last year, according to the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service. Non-irrigated cropland rent averaged $158.00 per acre, $7.00 above last year. Irrigated cropland rent averaged $257.00 per acre, $11.00 below 2023. Pasture rented for cash averaged $41.00 per acre, $3.50 above the previous year.
