Yedlin: Stampede important to local economy as well as being part of social fabric

In theory, corporate Calgary went back to work Tuesday.

Unlike one week ago, roads were open and power was (mostly) restored. But things are far from what could be described as “normal.” The acute phase – not unlike what happens when a family member passes away – is over. Yet the work to restore lives, physically and psychologically, is only beginning.
