2018 Mayor for a Day – Twenty-three submissions were received from Grade 6 students at Iron Ridge Intermediate Campus and St. Gregory the Great Catholic School. Cadence Gordon was named as ‘2018 Mayor for a Day,’ with Noah Thomas named as runner-up. Wearing the ‘Chains of Office,’ Cadence sounded the gavel to declare the meeting open. Cadence will attend various Blackfalds Days events with Council on Saturday, including the Council Pancake Breakfast and the parade.
