EDMONTON – Alberta’s finance minister warned Wednesday of tough choices in the coming months as the plunging price of the province’s heavy oil takes a big bite out of provincial revenue.

Finance Minister Doug Horner told reporters that he warned his colleagues at a Tuesday cabinet meeting they will be facing financial constraints, including in the areas of health and education.
