The Enoch Cree Nation has thrown its support behind a group of Parkland County residents opposing the construction of an airport on Sand Hills Road, and is planning to seek injunctions against the Parkland Airport Development Corporation (PADC) for developing their airport on traditional tribal hunting grounds.
