It may not have been his first trip to Southern Alberta, but last Monday’s visit to the County of Lethbridge was a first for Susumu Fukuda, Consul-General of Japan at Calgary.

As a diplomat representing Japan, Fukuda has made several visits to Lethbridge to celebrate such events as the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden’s 45 anniversary since he was appointed as consul-general for the Consulate-General of Japan in Calgary.
