EDMONTON – A milestone was reached Friday on NAIT LRT construction when political leaders unveiled a tunnel connecting the new system to Churchill station.

“It’s very exciting just being able to link the community together,” Mayor Stephen Mandel told a news conference on the Churchill platform, with an LRT train showing its destination as NAIT station as a backdrop.
