MD of Foothills Council unanimously approved plans Wednesday to pave Race Track Road with gravel for roughly $1.4 million – instead of a costlier cement product, seldom used by the municipality.

Paving will be completed in two parts over 2013 and 2014, with the MD planning to fully chip seal the road in 2015.
