CALGARY — The company that supplies gasoline and diesel through Fas Gas and Esso stations is jumping into liquefied natural gas retailing.

Red Deer-based Parkland Fuel Corp., Canada’s largest independent fuel distributor and marketer, said it has agreed with Shell Canada Ltd. to distribute the LNG it will start producing at its Jumping Pound facility near Cochrane next year.
