Peace Riverites who access Canada Post services from the Peace Country Co-op will have to use Freson Bros. IGA on the west hill or the Canada Post office downtown, beginning this week.

Following the expiration of a contract that needs renewal every five years, the outlet is closing down, with Canada Post picking up its equipment on Friday (Dec. 7).

“Our contract was up for renewal,” Chris Weiss, general manager of the Peace Country Co-op told the Record-Gazette by phone.
