The Town of Stony Plain has released its first quarter building statistics for 2013.

While the number of permits issued for new residential construction is down slightly from the same time-period last year – from 39 to 36, total construction values have increased by 13.87 per cent – from $7,804,643 in 2012 to $8,886,862 in 2013. Quarterly residential building stats reflect new construction for single-family, medium-density and high-density housing.
