'Stability': Edmonton’s housing market enters a cooling phase (Edmonton)

Edmonton’s housing market lost some of its summer momentum in September and October as average prices slipped and listings climbed, a sign the city is entering a cooler phase after two years of steady gains.

The price of the average housing unit sold in the Edmonton area in September was about $8,300 lower than the month before, falling to $452,849 with October’s average price in the same range, at $454,777, shows the latest data from the Realtors Association of Edmonton (RAE).
