2025 ends with ‘subdued’ December for home resales in most Canadian markets (Canada)

   

Affordability challenges and economic uncertainty continued to weigh on Canada’s resale real estate market in December, capping off a challenging 2025, a new report has found. A report from RBC Economics from January revealed that home resales “were subdued” across most major Canadian markets in December.
