Bill is in the mail: How Edmonton property-tax assessment works (Edmonton)

More than 440,000 property tax notices are in the mail to Edmonton residents. When they’re opened, some homeowners will see that their taxes have gone up more than the council-requested hike of 6.9 per cent, and some will notice that what they’re sending to city hall is less than the budgeted increase.
