Pipelines, affordability shaping 2026 for Fort McMurray MP Laila Goodridge (Fort McMurray)

Conservative MP Laila Goodridge says she is cautiously hopeful about increased investment in the oilsands in 2026. However, she is skeptical about the federal government’s commitment towards developing a new pipeline to the west coast, despite a recent agreement with Alberta to pursue one.
