Property tax increases could rise above 40 per cent by 2036: city officials (Edmonton)

  

Officials are projecting property taxes could grow by nearly 44 per cent by 2036 — meaning if a property owner is paying $2,000 in property taxes this year, they might expect to pay nearly $3,000 in 10 years.
